23 år siden Hillsborough-tragedien

15. april 1989 er datoen som æres høyest i Liverpool Football Club. Denne lørdagen ble en vitne til en av de største tragediene i sportssammenheng, da 96 supportere mistet livet på Hillsborough Stadium.

Hvert år siden ulykken, har det blitt holdt offentlige minnestunder i Liverpool. I dag er det minnegudstjeneste på Anfield, noe som kan følges på LFC TV fra kl. 15.30.

Liverpol by vil som vanlig stå stille klokka 15.06 lokal tid, for ett minutts stillhet.
