Da kan du kanskje hjelpe ITV? TV-kanalen er i ferd med å lage en dokumenter i forbindelse med dødsfallet til Prinsesse Diana, og trenger bilder eller film fra den dagen.
Supporterklubben har allerede satt dem i forbindelse med medlemmer som reiste til Liverpool - Newcastle den siste dagen i august 1997. Kampen ble som kjent avlyst da nyheten om ulykken i Paris ble kjent.
ITV etterlyser nå bilder eller video fra den 31.08.1997. Dersom du reiste til kampen og sitter på slikt materiale, vil TV-selskapet gjerne komme i kontakt med deg.

"This is an ITV 3 production and it is due to run in the first quarter of next year. The name of the programme is THOSE WERE THE DAYS. It is a social history documentary which looks at key events in modern British history which have united the nation. Everybody can remember where they were on these days and what they did. In this programme we want to reflect what was happening in society on this day.
The event which I am personally working on is the programme which looks at the day when news broke of Princess Diana's death (31 August 1997).
On this day Liverpool were due to play Newcastle at Anfield. I want to find somebody who travelled from Scandinavia to Anfield that day and went to the ground to find out that the game was actually been postponed. The documentary uses the death of Princess Diana as a backbone but we want to reflect what was going on in society on that day by describing individuels storys".
